DALL·E 3 vs Google Gemini
Two chat-based image generators side by side: Turkish support, free tier, speed and content filtering.
Short answer
Both work inside a chat and understand Turkish well. Google Gemini is faster with a more generous free tier; DALL·E 3 is a step ahead on prompt fidelity and building complex scenes. Choose Gemini for free usage and DALL·E 3 for detailed scene descriptions.
Criterion by criterion
| Criterion | DALL·E 3 | Google Gemini | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free tier | Present but with a low daily allowance | More generous; a Google account is enough | Google Gemini |
| Turkish prompts | Very good | Very good | Tie |
| Prompt fidelity | Builds complex scenes better | Good, but detail can be lost | DALL·E 3 |
| Speed | Moderate | Noticeably fast | Google Gemini |
| Content filter | Very strict | Strict | Tie |
| Product stability | Interface and naming are stable | Product names and interface change often | DALL·E 3 |
Which should you choose?
Google Gemini if you want to generate quickly in Turkish without paying anything. DALL·E 3 if you want to describe a complex scene in detail and have it built literally, and you already have ChatGPT Plus.
For the user writing in Turkish
These two are the most comfortable options on this list for a user writing Turkish prompts, and the difference between them is not language but access and fidelity.
Both understand a request written in Turkish directly, translate it into an English prompt internally and generate the result. You need neither to translate nor to learn English prompt patterns.
Gemini's advantage is access: a Google account is enough, the daily allowance is more generous and generation is noticeably fast. For someone generating occasionally it is a completely free solution.
DALL·E 3's advantage is fidelity: describe a detailed, multi-element scene — "three books on the table, two closed, a rainy window behind" — and DALL·E 3 builds it more completely. Seeing that difference usually requires a ChatGPT Plus subscription, though.
Frequently asked questions
Which one is completely free?
Neither is entirely free, but Gemini is more generous: a Google account gives a higher daily allowance. If you want something completely free and close to unlimited, Bing Image Creator, which uses the same DALL·E model family, is a better fit.
Which is better for Turkish?
Both are very good and there is no practical difference; both understand a request written in Turkish directly. Neither is reliable at rendering Turkish text INSIDE the image, though — ğ, ş and ı can break. Use Ideogram for that.
Why are my requests being refused?
Both have strict content filters: living celebrities, brand logos, copyrighted characters and some historical or medical scenes are refused. The fix is describing rather than naming: writing "a man in his forties with a short beard" instead of an actor's name usually works.
