Resolution
Short answer
An image's size in pixels; screens and print need different thresholds.
Resolution is how many pixels an image is made of. On screen, 1200 pixels wide is more than enough for most uses.
For print the measure is DPI: at the 300 DPI standard, A4 needs roughly 2500×3500 pixels and A3 needs 3500×4900. AI tools' default output falls below that.
Higher resolution is not always better: an oversized image on the web slows the page down, and that directly affects search rankings.
