Commercial Use
Short answer
Using a generated image in revenue-generating work; it depends on the tool's licence.
Every tool's commercial-use terms differ, and those terms are separate from copyright law. The tool grants you permission to use; copyright protection is a different question.
Common restrictions: on some tools, free-tier images may not be used commercially; on others, companies above a revenue threshold must be on a higher plan; with open-weight models the licence varies by version.
Before starting commercial work, verify two things: (1) the terms of the tool and plan you use, and (2) if you run an open-weight model, the licence of the exact version.
